This is Persian wheel. Locals called it "Jatta" or "Jallar" or "Rabat," This is used to move water from down place to upward. The wheel has started its work. Water is moving with Persian wheel. Very beautiful view fields are irrigating with water.
How to make jaggery. In first process, juice is making from sugarcane. Sugarcane juice is obtaining after passing the sugarcane in the machine. After that, juice of sugarcane is shifted from here to that huge pot through the pipe. The juice is shifting by water pump.
Then this juice will be put into huge pot kept on fire. The juice is now completely shifted from there to here. Juice is now shifted to this pot. Juice will be cooked here on fire. Juice is shifting through pipe. The chemical is put into the juice for clear the juice from waste.
Why it used?
It used to clear the juice. Waste is cleaning from the juice. Peel of sugarcane is spread in sun light for dry. Then this dry peel is used to fire in this oven. The waste from juice is put here. Mustard oil is used in it. The juice has dried up considerably & beautiful color. The jaggery has dried but still hot. Very tasty jaggery is now ready to use.
The ground is being leveled with oxen. "Sawaga" is used to make fields leveled. Beautiful oxen pair. This is old tradition of Punjab (Pakistan). Sawaga is used for leveling the land after plough the fields. These are mustard's seed and oil will be extract now by traditional way. This machine called "Kollu will be run with ox.
This method of extracting oil was popular in past but now it is running out. Ox has start moving round for extracting oil. Weight has been put on the wood linked with oxen. Can you tell how many types of oil extracting here? Oil is extract from Seeds of Mustard Flax, rocket, Sesame. Henna and coriander.
We sprinkle some water on mustard seed. This traditional method of oil extracting is now running out from Punjab (Pakistan). This material (Mustard seed cake) called "Khal" is too hard.
This is used by mixing it in fodder of animals. It is like dry fruit for animal.
